Social Responsibility

Spectrum Water Coolers has a rich history of corporate social responsibility, a history that has grown and evolved to meet the complexities of today’s business world and the challenges of a global society. 

Social responsibility is a way of life at Spectrum.  It means investing in and enriching our communities, being committed to our customers and suppliers, and preserving the environment as well as our integrity. Our commitment to being a good corporate citizen also includes:

• Protecting our environment and our water supplies
• Providing healthy products and advocating healthy lifestyles
• Acting with integrity and adhering to the highest ethical standards
• Promoting diversity in our work force and partnering with diverse suppliers
• Ensuring a safe, healthy workplace.

Some causes that are most important to us include working with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Iraqi Red Crescent Organization.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society:  Spectrum has had a longstanding relationship with the L&LS.  Through our donations of water coolers services to the Annual Gala, the donation of water coolers for charity auctions, and the sponsorship of many athletes running in L&LS events, Spectrum has shown a strong commitment to help the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research.

Iraqi Red Crescent Organization:  At the personal request of the president of the Red Crescent, Spectrum has designed six different water purification systems for the IRCO to supply pure water throughout the neighborhoods of Baghdad and the villages in Iraq.  A vast majority of the population in Iraq currently lacks access to potable water – Spectrum is committed to helping supply purified drinking water to the people of Iraq.  Learn More.
