Self-Sanitizing Coolers
Spectrum coolers clean themselves, in a manner of speaking. Our coolers use ultraviolet (UV) light technology to keep the insides of the cooler clean and free of bacterial growth. Viruses and parasites too.
Our coolers are NSF-certified to Standard 55 for UV microbiological water treatment systems; they also meet the U.S. EPA Standard for Microbiological Water Purifiers. They have been tested and certified to eliminate these microbiologicals:
- 99.9999% of bacteria
- 99.99% of viruses
- 99.9% of parasites
Superior Filtration Technology
Spectrum filters set the standard. Our NSF-rated filtration systems use multi-technology filtration systems and all accepted filtration types, including distillation, deionization, UV, reverse osmosis, carbon and mechanical filters.
Connections to Coffee and Ice Machines Included
Spectrum connects coffee and ice machines to our filtration systems at no additional charge. Using filtered water dramatically improves their taste, not to mention eliminating impurities.
Installation Anywhere
Spectrum’s service technicians can install coolers virtually anywhere in your building – not just in kitchens or break rooms or near water lines. We install in classrooms, conference rooms, lobby/reception areas, warehouses, distribution centers and manufacturing facilities.
Free Reinstallation
If you change your mind about a cooler’s location, don’t worry. We’ll relocate our coolers inside your building or within the same local service areas – for free!
Free Same-Day Service
All service calls and unscheduled maintenance are included in your monthly rental fee. And if you call in the morning, we are there by the afternoon; if you call in the afternoon, we are there by the next day.

Online Account Information
Access your account information right on our Web site in the password-protected client area. Information available online includes:
- Your cooler locations
- Number of coolers and filters
- Most recent filter change date
- Next scheduled service date
You can pay your bill online and edit your account profile too.
Spectrum stops catastrophic leaks – and little ones too. Our SmartValve Leak Detection and Prevention Devices do just that; they detect leaks anywhere in your entire Spectrum cooler system and prevent them from doing any serous damage. SmartValve monitors these system components:
The cooler itself and its filters and fittings
Water lines directly connected to the water supply or filtered water lines
Coffee machines, ice machines, post-mix soda machines and insta-hot units.
The leak detection device shuts off the water supply when a leak is detected, preventing no more than 4 gallons of water from escaping.
